Rabbi is a religious Jewish scholar. Scribe is specifically a person who copies the holy scriptures. He must not necessarily have a rabbinic education, but it is common.

Redundancy

There's a lot of redundancy between this page, Yahweh and Tetragrammaton. I think this page ought to be redirected to the latter, with any non-duplicate information being copied over into whichever of the two articles is most appropriate. Any thoughts? - Sean 01:49, 22 Apr 2004 (UTC)
