I have learned virtually nothing about this gifted singer, other than that he is German of Tamil/Indian South African descent. His music has a very spiritual quality to it, and I was wondering if he is Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Muslim, or what. I am a new fan and my daughter introduced me to his works through her German teacher.

Image:Naidoo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:34, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Why is this article in an indian WikiProject and why can I read several indian categories on the bottom of this discussion page? He's a german singer and hence all that stuff should be something about Germany and german singers rather than India and indian singers. -- 88.66.1.205 ( talk) 17:42, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

The section on his political views (which could be expanded to: and religious views - no, it is not simply "Christian", though he would perhaps very much claim it) is too brief; so it conveys the idea that he actually "has views", that he is a serious debater who brings this or that position which he did indeed utter (wrong though it be) to the debate. Now that is quite wrong. The actual case is, and a larger picture could give the impression, a rather different one. He is a classical conspiracy theorist, stemming from the fact that apparently he doesn't like our world and is quite ready to believe every slander against it no matter who makes it and what it is about, and perhaps - shall I say it? - from the one or the other marihuana cigarette too much. His positions are in a noticeable number of instances not actually positions (as Lenin's or Hitler's were - despicable though they are), but just utter nonsense. "I know for a certainty that the xth Seal from the Apocalypse was opened in 1993; after all, that was when I began reading the Bible", this was not literal but similar to it, to give an impression. -- 2001:A61:20C3:6201:D117:D575:4F38:FBAD ( talk) 01:05, 4 November 2017 (UTC)
