[1] As noted in the article, X-teens was in CMJ's top 100 for both Progressive Radio and College Radio in 1984. In addition, numerous nationally published reviews in notable (non-college and non-local) magazines are listed in Critical Reviews and Charts. The music video Change Gotta Come was put in rotation on MTV, as reported in Billboard's "Video Music Programming, MTV Adds & Rotation" section, as referenced in the article.
