Can anyone confirm that facing the hotel is a replica of the Hoover Dam that can be used as a "movie" screen when the water is not running over the dam?
According to their calendar, they should be done hiring in a few days. If you assume that 75% of the jobs will go to people here, that means 6,000 jobs opening up in the next 4 weeks. I sure hope the construction on Spring Mountain is finished!
Does anyone know if Franco Dragone is famous enough to have his own page starting with some of the facts contained here? Also does anyone know enough about the old DI Golf Course to build a page for it? It is famous enough, in my opinion, to have a page. Not being a golfer I know very little about the course. In his last edit User:Vegaswikian stated →External links - moved some links to the corporate page since they are not about Wynn LV.
I have to disagree with Vegaswikian, since Wynn Resorts Limited is the parent company of Wynn Las Vegas I think the corporate link should be reinstated. Misterrick 01:26, 1 May 2005 (UTC)
Someone just edited out the street address. Is there a problem with having the street address listed? Vegaswikian 02:20, 14 May 2005 (UTC)
Isn't it better to try and locate the pictures close to the text for the topic they are associated with? Why would you want all of the pictures included at the top of an article? Vegaswikian 02:56, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)
The pictures featured in the Wynn Las Vegas article REALLY REALLY need to be fixed because in it's current form it looks ugly! Some of the paragraphs are pushed so far down from the rest of the article because of the insertion of the pictures without any compension to fix it. Misterrick 21:23, 11 July 2005 (UTC).
Hey Vegaswikian, very nice job, It looks really good! A lot better then it did. Thanks for fixing it. Misterrick 01:52, 12 July 2005 (UTC).
In the article's chart area it says Previous Names, Would it be incorrect to insert Desert Inn because technicially that was the last name of the property abeit the old property was demolished and this maybe referring only to the new property. Misterrick 02:02, 12 Jult 2005 (UTC).
Do we still need all of those early 'interview type' external links? Vegaswikian 21:23, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
Vegaswikian are you refering to the Today Show and CNBC video? IMHO they should be kept. I don't see any real reason to get rid of them, They provide an insiders view to the opening of the new resort. Misterrick 22:24, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
I'm not sure where that marquee is, but it is not the hotel's primary one. That one in the picture is really plain by comparison. The strip marquee is one of a kind in Vegas (maybe anywhere?). A large block with the Wynn signature smoothy scrolls up and down a large electronic screen "erasing" the contents and replacing it with another add. I just think that would make for a better pic. So if anyone is interested.................. 70.35.90.142 00:06, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
One of the things people (tourists) notice is HOW MANY DAMN TASSELS THERE ARE
it's a tassel-gasim in there°
The Wynn is not 60 floors high. Although the elevator does have a button for floor 60, floors 40-49 are missing, due to an Asian superstition about these numbers. The hotel is actually 50 floors high. Sfaaron 06:58, 6 December 2006 (UTC)sfaaron
I've never been to the Wynn or its nightclub, but I do know that in French "bête" (meaning beast) takes the feminine article. Was the name really grammatically incorrect, or is the Wikipedia entry mistaken?
Can anyone confirm that the entire hotel is the 5 Diamond status? An employee told me its just the Tower Suites section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.172.205.77 ( talk) 00:15, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
Entry to the dealership was free of charge for several months after opening - it definitely was not $10 from the beginning. The lack of entry fee led to huge waiting lines outside the dealership, which I'm sure anyone who entered Wynn from the parking garage (adjacent to the dealership) during the first few months will remember. -- Sesameball 20:27, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
There really isn't a need for 3 different photos of Encore and/or the original tower. One of each tower is good enough, the rest should be removed or placed into wikicommons. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.173.252.93 ( talk) 05:50, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
This article on The Wynn hotel states that it has 45 floors. I have just returned from staying at the Wynn, where my room was on the 60th (top) floor. Either this article is incorrect or there are some floors missing at the Wynn??
