I don't know how good an example of the issue at hand Wanhua (萬華) actually is - it's written differently from the original Taiwanese not because of any Hokkien-Mandarin issues, but because the Japanese decided that 萬華 - homophonous in Japanese to the Taiwanese 艋舺 - was prettier.-- 61.216.2.70 ( talk) 08:41, 12 July 2011 (UTC) reply
