Notes
Lilian Garcia sang a rendition of "America the Beautiful" before the show. This event marked the second time that the WrestleMania main event featured The Rock and Steve Austin (the first was at WrestleMania XV. A third match would also take place at WrestleMania XIX). This event holds the record for most title changes at a single WrestleMania with 5. The WWF Championship, Tag Team Championship, Women's Championship, European Championship and Hardcore Championship titles all changed hands. This WrestleMania took place only about a week after the World Wrestling Federation announced the purchase of long time rival promotion, World Championship Wrestling. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan called his first WrestleMania match in eight years alongside "Mean" Gene Okerlund when the two called the Gimmick Battle Royal. Due to his unexpected departure from the company a month earlier, this was the first WrestleMania not to feature Jerry "The King" Lawler as a commentator since WrestleMania IX. This event saw the second time that Vince McMahon turned on the Rock Wrestlemania 2000 being the previous one.
