1998 final

I can't say for sure but I think the 1998 final went only to single overtime (2 halves) - Lukeoz ( talk) 02:47, 6 July 2009 (UTC) reply

And pls don't forget to report that the Iroquoise Nationals were allowed to enter UK to play the World Championship 2010. It's a shame!! HuckyXL Germany —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.183.101.29 ( talk) 21:07, 24 July 2010 (UTC) reply

championship in 2012?

Here in Finland, I just read news that Finland lost today its first game to Czech Republic, in a world championship which are contested in Turku, Finland. The closest ones in this article are 2010 and 2014. Would someone tell what is going on? 85.217.47.2 ( talk) 09:03, 13 July 2012 (UTC) reply

From the corresponding article, it seems that they were U19 championships. Strangely enough, those were addressed as just "world championships", though I wasn't in Turku but only read the news. 85.217.15.230 ( talk) 03:21, 14 January 2014 (UTC) reply

1974 Runner-up

The first table claims there was no runner-up in the 1974 tournament because of a "3-way tie" (though a score is mentioned). The second table claims Australia won silver, Canada bronze and England went 4th. At least one of those is incorrect or incomplete. - FakirNL ( talk) 12:43, 11 February 2015 (UTC) reply

The second edition was a round robin tournament with no medal matches. Australia, Canada, and England were each 1-2, leaving a 3-way tie. It is possible the teams were listed in that order based on score differential. SWDavidson15 ( talk) 16:39, 15 July 2023 (UTC) reply
