A section on the criticism this conference received from Saudi Arabia should be added. Controversy is relative IMO. May do it myself — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.139.64.226 ( talk) 01:25, 29 April 2016 (UTC)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on
Fourth World Conference on Women. Please take a moment to review
my edit. If necessary, add {{

I would like to propose that this page be renamed to World Conference on Women, 1995 with this page name retained as a redirect. It seems more likely that people will search for the date or location rather than the number of the conference. To that end, I have created the previous conferences in that format. Is the quote a joke? can't it simply be summarized such as "the president of the conference failed to make call on any special meaning of the term gender when the issue was raised on the 19th meeting of the Commission"
Why have all that inane roundabout overly politically safe misdirection verbiage instead? It's over three paragraphs with a note and a note call-out. Could be a single paragraph instead of the note anchor. Gcbwiki ( talk) 10:34, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
