Interesting!
Some odd ommisions, like
Marie-Denise Villers and her sisters. They were cousins of Jeanne-Elisabeth Chaudet it seems. I've matched up a couple more to WP articles, & I expect a few more are disguised by married names etc.

Thanks! It is an interesting list for me too, and I wish there were more notes about the various paintings, but at least there ARE paintings. So far it also looks like the list has stood the test of time - I only found two paintings attributed to someone else today.

Irena Kazazić?
She's on the list of painters supposedly featured in this book, but according to her page, she was born in 1972, while this book was published in 1905. Is there a different Irena Kazazić who was in the book, or should she not be listed here at all? -
