Hm, I think this article shouldn't be deleted, rather expanded upon, as it is an important part of what will become peer-to-peer history. Please expand this to include more details about the limewire shutdown and why this software resulted, but don't delete it. this article is too short, it is better to be merged into LimeWire TheChampionMan1234 ( talk) 23:51, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
The result of the proposal was moved. -- BDD ( talk) 18:53, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
WireShare → LimeWire Pirate Edition – Only ref was a dead sourceforge page and none of the other refs make any note of it. No indication that it was made or endorsed by creator(s) of LPE. WireShare was just a 'fork' that went nowhere. This page is about the version released by MetaPirate that got the coverage to make it notable. -- ZinnKid ( talk | contribs) 17:34, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
Given that this is now called WireShare and was formerly called LimeWire Pirate Edition, shouldn't the actual page be WireShare with LimeWire Pirate Edition redirecting to it, rather than vice versa as is the case at the moment? Currently it doesn't make sense for an up-to-date name to redirect to an obsolete name — Preceding unsigned comment added by 105.226.218.11 ( talk) 04:08, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
