Looking for the BBC WINGS series. I watched them film this as a child and would love to get a copy. any info would be great. martin@thechorleys.com—Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.217.215.225 ( talk) 21:42, 17 January 2005 (UTC)
Celia Bannerman's article would seem to suggest that she played the same character as she did in the series in a 1976 TV Movie entitled Wings as does he IMDB page (though I am aware that source is not always 100% reliable). This though is not mentioned here. Digging further IDMB includes an undated 26th episode which seems to be entitled Wings and is indicated to proceed the series. Again this could well be an error, but I wondered if this suggested a pilot episode broadcast prior to the series being commissioned? I would however note that I have looked to see if there was anything in the Radio Times about such a pilot being shown. Also as Kate is not introduced until later in series 1, it is a bit odd that she would be in an earlier episode. Thus I am not confident that there was a 1976 pilot or one-off that was actually broadcast, but if anyone has information that there was, then perhaps they would like to add details to this article. – To provide consistency with Wings (1990 TV series). See Wings (disambiguation)#Television. It is strange that one of these three articles is disambiguated by being British with no year provided, while the other two use years with no country provided. Also, looking at the title, one might think the 1988 TV show is not a series, but it is. — BarrelProof ( talk) 18:39, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
