This article absolutely meets the notability guidelines for Wikipedia. There are numerous independent articles, books and other topics that discuss Wilson Law's life, he was THE Major General of the Nauvoo Legion, was instrumental in the Nauvoo Expositor and a leader in the breakaway church formed around the same time.
