The Irish tag has led to some confusion: "géologue britannique né à Sunderland (Irlande)"
wiki FR - well, obviously Sunderland is in England.
So added category: british. Strictly speaking he was British by birth & throughout his life. His work in Ireland makes him an Irish scientist; however he should appear in the category British scientists for those who would look for him there.
