I'd really like some more clarification on this passage:
There's a citation for the "is said", but it's unclear what the citation means; does it drag the source (Caufield 1991) into question, or is the source itself unsure about his involvement in the Spanish Civil War? QVVERTYVS ( hm?) 12:00, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
His papers and file in the Docaster Archives ( see https://archiveshub.jisc.ac.uk/search/archives/3e632eee-b2e4-3ba4-9bf2-858d6a3027d1) state he was 82 at the time of his death in January 1995. This means the date of birth given is probably not accurate. I would assume he was born most likely sometime in 1912 (not 1916), or possibly January 1913. 4meter4 ( talk) 21:12, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
