William Barr has given significant contributions to the history of exploration of the Arctic, so that I find it relevant to include him at the Wikipedia. I see that the article itself is somewhat limited, but hope to add more to make it a qualified biography. I therefore ask for this article to be kept. -- Eivindghoel 23:00, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
I do not think this article should be "speedy-deleted" ... however, the call for more information is a valid one. Please provide more information--what specifically makes this person notable and different.
A "speedy-deletion", in my opinion, might have been an over-step.-- Paul McDonald 02:10, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
