Grange portrait not by Aikman

1720 portrait of James Erskine, Lord Grange by William Aikman, held in the Scottish National Portrait Gallery

This portrait of Lord Grange, as it appeared in this article from May 2010 to October 2012, is not by Aikman. It was sold by Christie's in 2010 for £750, and is described on their site as being of the Scottish School, painted circa 1750, some tweny years after Aikman's death.
