I am making changes to the page so that it meets wikipedia's standards. I removed an opinion on the academics section that referred to the Essential Skills system as promoting idiocy. Opinions are not allowed on wikipedia. Facts only. Lets make Whitney's page an informative, concise, professional one! Remember wikipedia is for everyone. - Dharmamooch 04:06, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
It's below (and not in the article) because I cannot find any references for this section in magazine subscription databases for any Sacramento-area newspaper or on any Rocklin Unified School District web page. Because I wish to submit this article for Good article status and references are difficult to come by, I am moving it here indefinitely until such references come around. -- Starstriker7( Talk)
Whitney High School's Theatre Arts Department has performed five major plays since the school's opening:
Whitney High School hosts a Theater festival, 2009 being the 3rd Annual. The festival is a chance for students show off their talents
In February 2007, the advanced theatre class received a Gold Award for their performance of a One Act Play at Sacramento State University's Lenaea Festival.
In March 2009, Whitney High School gained its first sold-out show in Wildcat history for Disney's Beauty and the Beast

This is a very nice article, but I think a lot more information could be added. I wouldn't expect the article to be huge, but compare it to some of the high schools at WP:GA#Educational institutions. I know there's a lot more info about a high school out there. Reywas92 Talk 00:42, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

It has been requested that the C-class rating on this article be reviewed. This article is well referenced and contains most content needed, so I am immediately raising it to B-class, where GA candidates should be. My main suggestions for further improvement are to add more pictures - and put the school logo in the infobox. Some mention of notable alumni would be good also if any can be found. I am also giving the article Mid importance, its California Distinguished School status and history are enough for this. Camaron · Christopher · talk 10:47, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
