The result of the move request was: There is clear consensus to move away from the current title. Opinions are divided but I think there is a slight preference for "West Sydney Airport line", so that's what I'm going to implement. Feel free to start another RM if a different title is preferred. Sydney Metro Greater West → Western Sydney Airport Line – The new official name of the line is Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport as per the line website on Sydney Metro. However, I prefer the alternative name also given on the website, which is Western Sydney Airport Line. I have no issues with either name. Marcnut1996 ( talk) 04:33, 1 June 2020 (UTC)—Relisting. Support Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport. Official name, consistent with Sydney Metro West, basing an article title on a URL seems particularly silly - even for Wikipedia. Oh, DrPizza! ( talk) 00:52, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

@ Buidhe:It is noted that move was to West Sydney Airport Line instead of Western Sydney Airport Line which I think was the preferred option and is the more correct one. Should a further move take place? Fleet Lists ( talk) 23:33, 20 June 2020 (UTC)

Western Sydney Airport line → Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport – The current name of the article is inconsistent with the naming convention established for existing Sydney Metro articles (Sydney Metro Northwest; Sydney Metro City & Southwest; Sydney Metro West); the construction project is named Sydney Metro [location], it's the service pattern that is known as Metro [x] Line. The proposed name is also the closest to the name used in press releases and the media "Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport". – Nick Mitchell 98 talk 03:38, 27 January 2021 (UTC) —Relisting.
