I have checked the university's website and the state higher education website and both are not forthcoming with statistical information. The Department of Institutional Studies says they publish a booklet called "In Brief" every semester with facts. However, i can't find an online version. The land on which WV State University stands belonged previously to Samuel I. Cabell--the name is misspelled in the entry. Also, the assertion that the land was originally Native American Mound Builder land is new to me--a citation for the source of this information would be welcome.
