In other areas of England, there are separate articles for the area and the authority e.g. Thanet District and Thanet District Council. Do we need that here as well? Crookesmoor ( talk) 12:00, 8 January 2021 (UTC) reply

Thanet was merged, although many unitary councils have separate articles its probably not a good idea as most of the time the content is interchangeable, see WP:UKDISTRICTS. We should probably look at merging many others. On Wikidata yes its usual to have separate items for councils though. Crouch, Swale ( talk) 20:50, 20 May 2023 (UTC) reply
