Finland is not a member of NATO, right, but Operation Gladio also included non-NATO members. A link in the "see also" subsection is not much. Although this particular weapons cache case might have no relation whatsoever with Gladio (in the basis that it was done by Finnish officers without US assistance), stay-behind movements have left dozens of such caches all over Europe, so there is a relation between them. I am curious where the source is for the numbers '1488' people convicted, and '1-4' months in prison.
It is possibly just a coincidence, but both those sets of numbers are popular in neo nazi circles, with 14 referring to the 'ad' of adolf, and 88 referring to hh - heil hitler, often these are combined in tattoos to be '1488'; which makes me curious as to what their basis is. Of course this could all be nothing. Sovietblobfish ( talk) 13:24, 19 October 2021 (UTC)
