Jason is correct. The link that I just added contains more than 1,500 pages just about the Warwick Valley region. It connects to the Historical Society's rich archives, the three Village sites, including Greenwood Lake, and provides additional info about the seven hamlets (like the Black Dirt Region's Pine Island, producer of most of the country's onions and a growing number of additional heirloom varieties of vegetables). There is also a lot of content about the businesses, houses of worship, entertainment, artists, schools, agriculture, and other events that take place in this center of Hudson Valley apple picking.the Warwickinfo.net link is also used by the community library, [1] school district, [2] and other major organizations and groups. there's a hell of a lot more to this town than that! I'm fairly certain there is some interesting history in Warwick. There are number of mansions which I believe were built by railroad barons and the like.
It is also mentioned in The Great Gatsby for what that's worth.
Also, Pine Island is a major onion producing region which was settled by Polish immigrants.
but I hear you saying (if you're listening) "go ahead and find out about it yourself!"
