it's the list of works, not the references that's the problem. I'm not sure every bit of the detail is needed here--it probably could be slightly shortened. But in any rate we don't delete the whole article because of a section. DGG (

Agree but the list of primary sources will be of the most interest to anyone looking for material on this writer (who is difficult to find otherwise on the net). I can't see any of the material is superfluous, having had a second look. Thanks for the opinion, though.
