Can someone tone down this article? I'd do it, but my despise for astrologer would make me go to far down. AstroNomer
Hey, this page should be voted for deletion. Yves 03:03 Sep 12, 2002 (UTC)
Since there is a line about a potential marriage, I've added a clause about the wide-spread rumors that Mercado is gay. - Willmcw 23:06, Apr 9, 2005 (UTC)
I support your addition. An encyclopedia includes important facts about an issue, place, or person. Sexual Orientation, believe it or not, can dictate a lot in somebody's life. While it may not please you that the general consensus claims him homosexual, Wikipedia is not something you censor based on personal belief. Tchaikowsky, for example, was homosexual, and it made a ton of difference in his life. Freddie Mercury was also homosexual, and it killed him. If we left out those bits of information from their bios, would it make sense? Tchaikowsky fainted when he kissed his bride for no apparent reason. Freddie Mercury just dropped dead, or magically appeared with AIDS. I mean, it is an important factor, so please include it. Also, thank you for toning down the fanpage, it now reads more like an encyclopedia. - Chewbacca 01:12, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Wow. This dude really likes Walter. Anyway, I also cleaned the page a little. Deleted the part where it said that his fame as an actor "reached all of latina America. I don't think so. Hopw come there aren't any mentons of whatever soaps he worked on by name? I can't find anything on the net that supports that he ever was one of the first 'teen idols" so i'll probably take that off as well.
One more thing: What is the "International Philo-Byzantine Academy & University" Mercado got a "doctorate in divinity" from. Sounds like a scam. It really reads like a fan page.
01/26/2009 Wow. Walter defeated today in Miami Federal Court. Thought he could tell the future.................. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.9.54.242 ( talk) 02:23, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
I've moved the article back to "Walter Mercado". While the subject may have changed his name, Wikipedia articles use the most common name, even when that is different from the official name. The subject became famous as Walter Mercado. Should his fame under his new name eclipse his former name then the article should be moved, but not before. Will Beback talk 09:49, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
