There seem to be a lot of erroneous links to this Waldrada - to do with Lothair II and Teutberga in the ninth century. Someone who knows the history should put in an appropriate disambiguation.
what a shame
what a shame that chlothar had to "give up" waldrada because a few "bishops" were complaining about his relationship. (they may have been jealous. they might not have been getting any themselves.) but then again, the fact that the king "handed her over" to the duke of bavaria implies that maybe his royal highness didn't think all that much of her. and what did waldrada herself think about all this? in any case, it's a shame that this affair had to be broken up on account of a few censorious prelates........
