It's often used to make clear that he didn't pitch for the actual team, but that's already covered anyway, so I took it out.

"the disabled list" is that the injury list? Is there a link?
Sorry, I forgot to link it! Its name was changed to injury list beginning in the 2019 season, so for future reference, it's the disabled list 2018 and earlier and the injured list 2019 and later.
