I though the letter W was the first call letter for any radio station in the United States east of the Mississippi River. However, this station appears to be an exception. Why?? 66.245.108.151 16:50, 6 Apr 2004 (UTC)
I don't have time to integrate it into the article, but here's an interesting article from September 1949: Experimental Standard-Frequency Transmitting Station WWVH. Noting it here for later use by whoever gets around to it. 71.41.210.146 ( talk) 22:45, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
