Article states that the title could only be won and lost on TV, but also refers to Booker T and Chris Benoit trading the title at house shows, which are not televised..... ChrisTheDude 09:44, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
I think the original idea was as stated in the article, but later that rule was watered down. Str1977 (smile back) 17:00, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
Just as a matter of interest, why did Scott Hall throw the title out?-- Cini 19:00, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
I have corrected some clearly erroneous information on time limits. It is nothing unusual or rather it is perfectly logical that a time limit draw results in the champion retaining his title. What was special about the TV title was the short time limit and the frequency with which champions retained the title that way. However, I cannot vouch for that being a constant factor throughout the title history but it at least it was one during Steven Regal's long reigns. Str1977 (smile back) 17:00, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
Is there perhaps a better image of the belt available? The one currently visible in the article is of a toy replica of the belt. Jeff Silvers 19:47, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
This article and the NWA World TV Championship article merged since they are the same title.
I suggest to change the name from WCW World Television Championship to NWA World Television Championship, as the championship would return on NWA Hard Times.
