Currently this section consists of a single phrase, which is completely obscure. There is no way to tell from it what is a classical W-algebra since no W-algebras are mentioned in it. 109.172.129.12 ( talk) 17:58, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
It is my understanding that W-algebras are associative algebras, but I am an outsider who is not aware of the theory so I am not sure. If this is the case then "a W-algebra is an algebra that..." in the first sentence of the article should be clarified to "a W-algebra is an associative algebra that...".
