I came to this Wikipedia page to find out about the volume command in the windows command prompt, but I very quickly realised this was the wrong volume command. You see, I want to find out how to control the sound volume from the cmd prompt, not how to set anything to do with computer memory, the hard drive, or anything like that. I don't even know how to search Wikipedia for this information, as my search attempts keep throwing me back to this page. If there is an article about the cmd prompt and sound volume, I wish a proper editor could create a link to it from here, or one of those "disambiguation pages" or something like that. Just my request to improve the usefulness of this page, in order to help users like me to get to the information we actually came here for. Thanks to anyone who helps. 70.67.126.147 ( talk) 21:49, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
