I seem to recall that Voinovich is a pretty severe critic of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn; it that is so then it eventually should be included in the article. Hi There 10:43, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
Image:180px-Vojnovich.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:48, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
I didn't know Ivo Voinović was a Serbian writer. When I get to heaven I will be sure to inform him of it.

"His ancestor, Ivo Vojnović, was a prominent writer from Dubrovnik." - that is not truth. Vladimir Voinovich never said or wrote it. -- Montegorn ( talk) 07:53, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
It was perfectly sourced, taken from Voinovich's memoirs at his personal site - the link is still there: [1] There is no reason to place links after every single sentense. And his filmography is traditionally linked ti his IMDb profile which is in the External links. AveTory ( talk) 11:26, 29 July 2018 (UTC)

This edit. I do believe this image is out of place here. Yes, he received the award, and we said about it. What this image suppose to show? That he likes Putin? In fact, the subject is famous for his criticism of Russian state [1]. The image was imported by a banned user as one of several thousands of similar propaganda images he took from Kremlin.ru. My very best wishes ( talk) 15:17, 1 August 2018 (UTC)
