Last line “69 home runs” is incorrect. He hit 91 in 3 rounds (29+40+22) 73.147.44.75 ( talk) 03:45, 9 July 2019 (UTC)
The picture in the infobox is incorrect. Needs to be fixed. It also says in multiple places that Vladimir is part of the Twins. That is not true and also needs to be fixed. Cherrell410 ( talk) 14:19, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
As of October 10th 2023 Vladimir Guerrero is the first baseman for Toronto Blue Jays. He does not play the position of designated hitter and he is not signed to be a DH. As is customary as a top hitter on Blue Jays he sometimes -10 to 30 games a year - fills the DH role. But at the time I made the edit Vlad was 24 years old. In the 2023 season Vladimir only appeared as a DH on rest days. Vladimir Guerrero Jr has always been known as a fine fielder who has a strong throwing arm and "soft" fielding hands. He has won the prestigious "gold glove" award as a MLB first baseman.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.141.35.114 ( talk • contribs) 22:57, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
I removed the statement "Due to his upbringing in Montreal, he is also fluent in French" from the article. Of the two sources cited for that, one is a YouTube commercial in which Guerrero Jr. speaks a single sentence of simple scripted French. The other is a story from an aggregate blog (archysport) of questionable reliability; more importantly, that citation only mentions that GM Alex Anthopoulos spoke French with Guerrero Jr.'s mother when visiting them in the DR, and not with Guerrero Jr. That article also incorrectly states that his mother is from Montreal (she is Dominican, but is cited as having learned French during her time in Quebec). His father ended his playing days for the Expos in 2003, when Guerrero Jr. was four years old, and all other sources state that Guerrero Jr. grew up in the Dominican Republic with some time spent the United States. An assertion that he speaks French requires a higher quality source, such as an extended conversation or interview given in the language. 66.235.43.84 ( talk) 23:55, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
