Light usually implies 'visible light', which means this article is really already covered. For example this is a quote from 'Wikipedia Light' ( light):

The same article ( light) then says:

If you think you can expand on visible-light in the same way it is possible to do with infra-red/ultraviolet without including general information that applies to all light, great :). But at the moment all the information on this page is already covered in more detail elsewhere.
Why create a page for visible-light when the 'Light' page, which should have a strong visual-slant, already exists? -- sodium

A REDIRECT to light could have been done. But then, we now have all this debate about the topic.

I think that visible light should have its own article instead of being redirect to light (meaning the entire magnetic spectrum) because it is its own section of the EM spectrum and is used differently by humans than the other parts, just like X-ray and radio waves have their own articles even though they are just part of light. I reverted the change in redirect target. Light is the correct target for visible light. The Light article explicitly covers electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths in the visible spectrum, i.e. visible light. The visible spectrum article is about the spectrum of visible light, not about visible light itself. It's the wrong target for this link.-- Srleffler ( talk) 17:54, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
