Oh god this is terrible. Sources are pop psychology clickbait or just wild speculation. Find some actual studies done on the topic (if any exist) or delete this nonsense. VR has been a passing fancy time and again for decades. Just because the Oculus Rift and the like are the cool new thing doesn't necessarily imply they will be any more addictive than the Virtual Boy (ouch, migraines).
