"President Bill Clinton attended the funeral, remorse over what had happened." does anyone know what this fragment means?
Is this person notable? Has she done anything? -- Mel Etitis ( Μελ Ετητης) 15:08, 24 August 2005 (UTC)
I have restored the older version of the article, breaking the redirect to Bill Clinton. It is now a bare-bones stub that needs to be expanded, and I will work on that as time permits. But we have articles on George H. W. Bush's mother, Jimmy Carter's mother and of course JFK's mother. Why not have an article about Bill Clinton's mother? I think when the article is expanded to include her life story, it will be more encyclopedic. President Clinton referred to her a lot when she was alive. I will try to add more this weekend. Gmosaki 15:23, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
Whats the deal with all the different iterations of her name? The article title is one thing, the opening is another, and she was "born" yet a third version. -- Dmz5 02:57, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
Is Bill Clinton's last stepfather sill alive? no

I oppose the merge. She garnered independent attention when she had breast cancer and when she authored her own autobiography. The story of her difficult life was covered independently of her son's politics (though only after his rise of course). JJL ( talk) 17:20, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
I oppose the merge also. Bill Clinton's mother was fairly well-known in her own right during Clinton's first campaign for the White House and in the early years of his presidency. Beyond this, readers will note that there is an ongoing link in place at the bottom between Wikipedia biographies of presidential mothers. I believe that this linking/continuity needs to be maintained. Certainly the mothers of U.S. presidents are topics of interest and, where there is sufficient information, warrant their own biographies on Wikipedia. Without question, Virginia Clinton Kelley falls in this category. I recommend no merge and conclusion of the merge discussion. SWMNPoliSciProject ( talk) 16:43, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
The Bill Clinton article says he was born in 1946 and changed his name at age 14. This contradicts the 1962 date here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.109.159.242 ( talk) 03:04, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
