@ RickH86: About this edit, its important to add things sourced to secondary sources as editors nowadays are asking for new articles, even about obviously notable subjects, to at least have some secondary sourcing when started.
While we have WP:NOTNEWS a close reading shows it is against routine news. Changes in superintendent are an important non-routine development for a school district. It's similar to say the change in CEO of a company or the change in president of a country.
