I saw that reference to listening in on domestic anti-war broadcasts, but I am not sure how realistic this was. Most activists were in the New York/Boston/ San Francisco Bay area, a long way from Fauquier County, VA. Vint Hill was designed to intercept short wave transmissions, but few activist used short wave, and of those that did, you did not need the sophisticated facilities of Vint Hill to hear them.
Drug smuggling
I had heard that they were using top secret pouches to smuggle heroin during Vietnam. Can't seem to find anything to document it though. I will add it if I do, or maybe someone with better google skillz will see this and find it. — Preceding
