Hello, Sauloviegas. I am reviewing this article for the 2012 WikiCup.
Pass or Fail: Sauloviegas, I'm awfully sorry. I know GOCE requests take time to get responded to, but I just can't leave this article like this. It has been over a week. The Composition, Critical reception and Music video are still a bit too dense on quotations and it is worrying. The second opinion I had gotten was to wait, but I've waited long enough. I hope this does not come out too harsh because I do respect the effort you've put into the article. I ask that once the article has been copy edited to GA standards it be nominated. Thank you. — WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 10:48, 19 January 2012 (UTC)

There's a controversy about "video games" being a copy of the song "Dromoi Agapisa Pou" by greek singer Elena Vitali, isn't it worth mentionning ?

Hi, I'm from the GOCE, and I'm here to copyedit this article to the best of my abilities! I have already started, in fact, and I'm here to explain where I'm going with it:
It's a short article, and I'll be done with the preliminary copyedit soon. Then we can talk it over, and hopefully you'll be able to renominate it. Bobnorwal ( talk) 15:55, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

Traditionally "cover versions" has meant officially released versions of the song from different artists. I'm not convinced that songs played on a radio session that obliges the performer to do a version of another contemporaneous track qualifies as a "cover", particularly from a notability point of view. danno 01:35, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
Is it just me, or is the vast majority of the Background section completely irrelevant to this song? -- Michig ( talk) 16:29, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Video Games (song)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Hey guys, I've edited the original release date from the current unsourced Jun 29 2011 to May 5 2011 - as seen on the internet archive page here. For those in doubt of May release date, here's also some blog post from May about the video. This May 5 upload is the earliest one I could find – and it seems like the very first release, as the video couldn't have been made earlier than April 22 2011, as one of sources was uploaded to Youtube on April 22. For those further interested in the early life of Video Games, it seems to have been reuploaded multiple times then, as certain bits and pieces were edited or replaced in the video. This upload from Aug 19 seems like one of the final edits. demis talk 00:39, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
