The Elliott Cresson medal 1903 was awarded in engineering for 'Theory of Musical Harmony' hardly Victor Moritz Goldschmidt's field. Would Victor Mordechai Goldschmidt have been the more likely recipient of this award, after all Victor Moritz Goldschmidt was only 15 at the time?

PLEASE will someone check the paragraphs I abstracted from the Geoscientist article (and the reference to the hard copy version -- the 17.3 looks strange -- to make sure I have not violated copyright -- expand or change the balance -- I won't be offended -- and make the referencing style consistent. I got here from a search for info on BCUSA for an expansion of Rosalind Franklin article.
Apropos Norwegian scientists, anything being done about Chaim Pekeris, Bastiansen, Hassel, Hyleraas (spelling may be inaccurate) -- do not recall any of them having significant presence in England, but Pekeris and Hyleraas certainly on international scene.
Any questions use my User talk page Michael P. Barnett ( talk) 15:02, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Should the Goldschmidt classification table even be on this page. It is already displayed in the Goldschmidt classification article that is linked from this page. Maybe a more compressed version of it would be more appropriate. -- Tobias1984 ( talk) 09:30, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
This article reads like a hagiography. I'm about to sprinkle Citation Needed's into this article like I was the CN Fairy. 76.180.196.125 ( talk) 18:19, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
