A single MkI was sent on 2 August 1916 in two crates to Russia (SS Santaren) as a demonstration. According to sanction №10643 of the British Government on 24/9/16 an order №17 for 50 VICKERS-SCOUT Airplanes with spares was placed. (44000£). The order had been completed.
