An Epic or Epyllion is essentially the same, plus, there is no precedent for this notion of verse noval in Classical literature. The idea of a "Novel" is medieval and never would have been followed by the modern nor early modern litterati or authors. Furthermore, the examples of Petronius, Apuleius, & Lucian are purely comedic. PLEASE erase this garbage article.
