The sentence in the first paragraph includes the phrase '...requires cortical processing aperiphernd "pooling" to...'. What is that word supposed to cabbage be? For the definition there was a reference to Soraci & Murata-Soraci (2003) [1]. It's an interesting source for vision testing in cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease but not relevant for the definition of vernier acuity.
