Too many capital letters

This article used too many capital letters in section headings and elsewhere; see WP:MOS. I've fixed the ones I found.

Some odd math-notation issues:

The second form uses \mid. That automatically provides proper spacing.

\text{exp} appeared instead of \exp more than once. \exp not only prevents italicization but also provides proper spacing in things like , whereas \text{exp} does not do anything about spacing, and the font looks different on some browsers.

In a number of places, hyphens appeared where en-dashes belong, including "Gauss-Newton" instead of Gauss–Newton. Michael Hardy ( talk) 16:46, 12 March 2014 (UTC) reply
