Composite photo - doesn't feel very "reference material"

Is there a Wikipedia guideline against composite images? The sky shows very obvious signs of being photoshopped in, you can see it very clearly along the roofline where the spires poke over. Drewson99 05:11, 7 February 2007 (UTC) reply

The image caption says it is a mosaic, which is to inform that the image has also been "stiched"; it is composite deeply in its nature. This causes the source pictures to go through a certain number of rather complex pattern-searching algorithms that may be considered pure data manipulation. Anything against mosaics? If yes, probably Ms./Mr. Drewson99 would like to politely ask NASA to stop doing that as well. Anyway, the important question is if the picture carries the message. Does it?

It is a mosaic, so it is just several photos which have been integrated together. There is no falsification here. Xanthoxyl 19:37, 24 February 2007 (UTC) reply
