I like a good mystery! I think I've localized this (Lavia -> Latvia helped), and cleaned up a bit of language, though I have as yet no verification that either the estate or the stone exists. --

Both the estate and the stone exist, according to print encyclopedias in Latvian (Latvian Soviet Encyclopedia and Alfa un Omega statistics book).
