Since it is often reported on the internet, as well as in the recent edits to this page, that a prototype was built I thought it would be useful to clarify the photos usually posted with these claims are not those of said prototype but of an experimental Luchs with Tatra diesel engine. Source is Panzer Tracts 2-2, pages 44 and 45. No prototype Vk16 is known to have been built. Roshindow ( talk) 22:14, 11 March 2021 (UTC) reply
