I think this would be the better known name for these troops since everywhere in Wikipedia they are referred to as the Romanian Mountain Corps-- mrg3105 ( comms) ♠♥♦♣ 08:30, 1 May 2008 (UTC) reply

Vânători has like like Cacciatori (Italian), Chasseurs (French) or Jäger (German) two meanings: In an military context riflemen or light infantry, in an context of forest/agiculture huntsmen/hunters. Vânători de munte are not for hunting deers, so riflemen is the correct translation. -- Feliks ( talk) 08:52, 13 December 2010 (UTC) reply
