Lat long

Just curious where the lat and long came from, looking at a map and the NRHP nom document, it looks like the current lat long is too far north ( 40°6′35″N 88°12′15″W / 40.10972°N 88.20417°W / 40.10972; -88.20417). Using USA Photomaps, which uses terraserver and USGS aerial photos, the correct lat and long for the center round barn is: 40°5′38″N 88°13′27″W / 40.09389°N 88.22417°W / 40.09389; -88.22417. I'm 99.99% sure on this, but I didn't want to change the number if you had a source. Google maps and Yahoo don't give detail, but Windows live aerial and/or terraserver use the USGS images that show the barns. -- Dual Freq 23:49, 1 May 2007 (UTC) reply

Also, the NRHP form, page 4 says approximately 6 acres not 60. I don't know if its a typo, but looking at the map, 60 acres seems impossible. The grid of streets in that area is 40 acres and the historical district is much smaller than that area. The barns look like they are only about 400 feet apart. I'd say the 6 acres in the NRHP application is correct. -- Dual Freq 00:27, 2 May 2007 (UTC) reply
Probably a typo. My fault, thanks for the fix. IvoShandor 05:51, 3 May 2007 (UTC) reply
I used Google Earth, which didn't have high res imagery for the location. I put the centered it on the road near the historic district, I thought it was the road bounding it. You can change it if you haven't already. IvoShandor 10:42, 3 May 2007 (UTC) reply
