We have a new dean of the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences. That person is Ronald L. Jackson II, Ph.D. You can find more information on him at www.ronjacksonii.com. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.137.45.7 ( talk) 13:32, 11 December 2012 (UTC)
I have added a short note on the name. This needs expanding to include the nuances of the name: ChMc never asked for his name to be used, the name was first used in 1909, it only became used 'officially' (?) in the '50s, there were protests over the name in the '70s; he was a slave holder and slave trader, he freed and supported at least one slave (before the War), his Million-dollar donation led to the founding of UC for "white boys and girls."
