Vizianagram Hall restoration

There was an article about the proposed restoration in the Times of India. Is there any update that can be used as a source? All the best: Rich  Farmbrough, 11:28, 12 July 2015 (UTC). reply

Lists of alumni

Until very recently this article had a poorly formatted and virtually unsourced list of alumni. This was prefaced "Main article: List of University of Allahabad alumni". This List of University of Allahabad alumni contained fewer names (and was virtually unsourced).

I see no reason for there to be two lists. So after clearing the list that was here of some more obvious junk, I deleted it and added its content to List of University of Allahabad alumni.

Those editors who are keen on such lists may like to provide a reference for each claim that this or that person is an alumnus of the university. (Yes, lists of people can be sourced: example.) -- Hoary ( talk) 03:52, 9 August 2017 (UTC) reply

Photos

I have nothing against the two new photographs, which both show Vizianagaram Hall at night. But I think the article should also show the photos that were previously shown. Does anyone support the idea of putting them all in a gallery? -- Toddy1 (talk) 19:48, 17 June 2021 (UTC) reply

Also, if the article is going to show photographs labelled as "Vizianagaram Hall", it would be a good idea to talk about the restoration of the building, and to explain that it was originally Muir Central College. There are reliable sources talking about this - for example [1]-- Toddy1 (talk) 19:56, 17 June 2021 (UTC) reply
